Tapioca Raw Cut (kappa puzhungan pakathinu) in a 500 g pack, cut into larger pieces suited for boiling. This is the cut for plain boiled kappa, the simple Kerala classic eaten with a fiery kanthari or ulli chammanthi, fish curry, or mathi curry.

Boil the pieces in salted water until soft, drain well and serve hot. Leftovers can be mashed into kappa puzhukku with a crushed coconut and shallot mix.

Cut tapioca does not keep well, so cook it on the day of delivery. Refrigerate briefly in a covered container if you must wait.
