Instant Mathanga Erissery Kit - 400 gm

Instant Mathanga Erissery Kit, a 400 g pack with 300 g mathanga (pumpkin), 100 g grated coconut, 5 green chillies and curry leaves. Erissery is a sweet-and-spicy Kerala curry and a Sadya favourite.

Cook the pumpkin pieces with turmeric, chilli and salt, mash lightly and add some of the coconut ground with cumin. Roast the remaining coconut in coconut oil with mustard seeds and curry leaves until golden and pour it over. Add cooked van payar (red cowpea) if you like.

Refrigerate on arrival and cook the same day.
