Instant Mango Pickle Kit, a 250 g pack to help you make mango pickle (manga achar) at home with less preparation. Kerala homes make mango pickle in many styles, from quick kadumanga with small pieces to oil-rich pickles kept for weeks.

A simple method: temper mustard seeds and fenugreek in gingelly oil, add garlic, ginger and curry leaves, then chilli powder, asafoetida and salt, and mix in the mango pieces. Cool before bottling.

Use a clean, dry spoon and jar, and keep the kit refrigerated until you make the pickle.
