Cucumber (Ooty) vellarikka in a 500 g pack, ozone washed. These green salad cucumbers are crisp and juicy, best eaten raw: sliced into a salad with onion and lemon, grated into raitha for biriyani, or made into kichadi and pachadi with curd for a Sadya-style lunch.

They are also great in sandwiches, or as a cooling snack with salt and pepper on a warm day.

Store in the vegetable drawer of the fridge and use within four to five days. Once cut, cover the open end and use within a day.
