Cleaned Sardine Large / Mathi /ചാള Big 300gm

Cleaned Sardine Large (mathi, chaala) in a 300 g pack, cleaned and cut to order. Mathi is one of Kerala's best-loved fish, and the larger size gives more meat per fish.

Make mathi fry with a simple chilli, turmeric and pepper marinade, a red mathi curry with kudampuli (Malabar tamarind), or wrap the fish in banana leaf for mathi pollichathu. Serve with rice or boiled kappa.

Delivered in same-day slots across Kochi. Sardines are oily and spoil quickly, so refrigerate on arrival and cook the same day. For longer storage, freeze in a closed container and thaw in the fridge.
