Chopped Cheera Red / Spinach / ചുവന്ന ചീര - 200gm Pack (Ozone Washed)

Chopped Cheera Red (red amaranth, chuvanna cheera, often sold as spinach) in a 200 g pack, washed (ozone washed) and finely chopped. Red cheera has a slightly earthy taste and turns everything a lovely deep pink when cooked.

The favourite way to cook it is cheera thoran with grated coconut, shallots and green chilli, but it is equally good in cheera parippu curry or a quick mezhukkupuratti with garlic. Serve with rice and moru curry.

Chopped greens wilt fast, so refrigerate in a closed container and cook on the day of delivery.
