Carrot Thoran Cut in a 250 g pack, finely cut and ready for the pan. Carrot thoran is a bright, mildly sweet Kerala side dish that children usually enjoy: temper mustard seeds and curry leaves, add shallots and green chilli, then the carrot with a pinch of turmeric and salt, and finish with grated coconut.

The same fine cut works well in upma, fried rice, omelettes and carrot-beans thoran.

Refrigerate in a closed container as soon as it arrives and cook the same day or the next for the best taste.
