Lady's Finger (vendakka) in a 250 g pack, ozone washed. Tender vendakka is cooked many ways in Kerala: vendakka mezhukkupuratti with onion and chilli, crisp vendakka fry, vendakka theeyal in roasted coconut gravy, or added to sambar and moru curry.

A tip to avoid sliminess: wash and dry the pods completely before cutting, and cook on medium heat without covering the pan.

Store vendakka unwashed and dry in a paper bag or open box in the fridge, and use within two to three days.
