Njalipoovan banana in a 500 g pack. Njalipoovan is a small, thin-skinned Kerala banana, around three to four inches long, known for its natural sweetness and aroma. It is an everyday fruit for children's lunch boxes and a quick snack, and it is often eaten with puttu, payasam or rice and moru curry.

Its thin skin makes it easy to peel, and it is a handy fruit to carry for school or work.

Keep the bunch at room temperature, out of direct sun, and eat within a few days. Brown spots on the skin are normal as it ripens.
