Leghorn Egg / കോഴിമുട്ട (Pack of 6)

Leghorn Egg (kozhimutta), a pack of 6. These are the familiar white eggs used in most Kerala kitchens every day, good for boiling, omelettes, bulls eye and scrambled egg, as well as for baking.

Make a classic mutta roast with onion and tomato to go with appam, porotta or puttu, a coconut-milk egg curry, or egg thoran with grated coconut.

Refrigerate on arrival, pointed end down, and use within a week or two. Wash only just before cracking, not before storing.
