Country Chicken Egg (nadan kozhimutta), a pack of 6. Nadan eggs are a long-time favourite in Kerala homes. Use them for a classic mutta roast with appam or porotta, a coconut-milk egg curry, omelettes, bulls eye, or simply boiled with a pinch of salt and pepper.

They are also good in egg thoran (mutta thoran) and in cakes and puddings.

Refrigerate the eggs on arrival, pointed end down, and use within a week or two. Wash only just before cracking, not before storing.
