Chopped Cowpea / പയർ അരിഞ്ഞത് - 250gm Pack (Ozone Washed)

Chopped Cowpea (payar arinjathu) in a 250 g pack, washed (ozone washed) and cut into small pieces ready for the pan. Payar is one of the most-cooked vegetables in Kerala homes, and having it pre-chopped makes a weekday lunch much quicker.

Use it for payar thoran with grated coconut, payar mezhukkupuratti with shallots and dry chilli, or add it to aviyal and mixed vegetable thoran.

Chopped vegetables are best cooked the same day. If you need to keep it, refrigerate in a closed container and use by the next day.
